I'm staying at the Orleans and paying $12 a day for wireless. Where can I go to get my "net" on for free? I heard that the expo has free wireless, which I'll find out tomorrow, but if not, where should I be going?
Thanks

It's only $11/24h here at Circus Circus. Ugh. :furious3:

I'm at Circus Circus, too. 11 bucks is better than going to the lobby and paying that much for half an hour.
And it's WIRELESS. Cool.

It's only 30mins in the lobby? Ouch.

no word on free wireless on the expo floor?

I tried getting a free wireless signal on my Powerbook. Had no luck all day everywhere I went. All I saw were pay terminals...but there were supposedly some people getting service. Not sure if it was free...I did get a wifi server, "NAB Conv" or something, but it didn't work. Lugging the extra weight of that laptop bag around with me all day through the convention crowds was a lot of fun.

well I took my powerbook in and indeed DID GET FREE SERVICE. Not sure if it matters where you are, I think i was at the entrance to the South Hall.
If I remember correctly, at the Fashion Mall near the apple store you get free wireless.
