Cheapest/Decent Tripod for HVX200?

What is a cheap, stable, strong, and decent tripod that can hold up a HVX200 with accessories such as a firestone drive and an attachable lens? Tripod will be used for just mostly stationary shots, not really much panning or tilting. I'm looking in like the $500 price range.

I'm looking at the ^ebay Amvona AT-9903^, which goes for about $400, but i'd rather get something off of BH photo.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Search the forums for more info on the Amvona. I wouldnt go near it, but thats just me. Others have had good experiences I believe. I'd up my budget to closer to 1000 if not more. You've got a $5000 camera, put something decent between it and the ground.

I thought I could get a good stable tripod for about $500. Again, I don't really need it for panning much, just stationary shots. I might get a Steadicam Merlin for moving shots and handheld too.

if you can, up your budget. But if $500 is it, I think the dynatran 9903 is a very good tripod for the money. I've been using it and think it is rock solid. The head doesnt have some features that other high end heads have, but hey, its a $400- $500 tripod. I still think it is more sturdy than the bogen 500 series that I have used. The bay seems to have the 9903's quite a bit. I got mine off the bay and it was straight from amvona, but the price on their online store I think is much higher.
