24fps & 1/250 Shutter Possible?

I plan on buying this camera for uses other than what I use my dvx for but I understand that their is a gain & shutter issue.......

I plan on attaching a 35mm adapter to it as well, but was wondering if I'll have the automatice gain issue while using an adapter and can I use a 1/250 shutter as well?

You will have the gain issue to contend with, it is built in. Until someone figures out how to shut it off, it is not avilable to shut off in the menu. There are ways to avoid it.

You can assuredly lock the shutter at 1/250 in TV mode. You can see footage I've posted here showcasing quicker shutters.
