So is this the official list? No surprises or anything else?

Jan and Barry mentioned a suprise 2/3" camera that may be there. We'll have to go to find out! :)

they might have something up their sleeve to surprise us with I was hoping for a new version of the HVX200

So if the 32 gig card is coming at the end of the year... that should mean that the p2 store should be updated as well... or it depends..

Unless the portable player/recorder is going to replace that... all will be known in a week...

Jan kinda of has made it clear for months that no new version of the HVX was forthcoming at NAB

There will not be a new version of the HVX200, Jan's been very clear about that and said the HVX isn't changing this year. Jan also mentioned a "surprise" 2/3" camera, which we are now guessing is the leaked "HPX3000".

I don't know if this represents a comprehensive list, especially since it's coming from Panasonic Europe. But as far as press releases go, this looks like a fully legit press release...

So what is the now leaked HPX3000?

Well there's nothing official about it, there was just a post on Studio Monthly that apparently a Panasonic official said there would be a new high-end HPX3000. Might be "the new VariCam"; he mentioned it'd be in the $50,000 price bracket.

Thanks... I guess I'll see it and maybe you at the booth next week...

Why is there never any pricing?

I just don't understand it. NAB is a week away, 16 and 32 Gb cards are in the offing, and still no body is going to let us know how much they cost.

Perhaps someone could explain why at this time of the day this is a secret.

I for one am thrilled at the prospect of 160 minutes of uninterrupted HVX200 720/24PN recording. That alone is going to make my life much, much easier.

We're already pitching three series that will source on the 500s with 200s as b-cameras, so that is exciting too.

It's going to be a great year for Panasonic.

Apparently pricing is announced at the show. They're saving up some announcements to make actually on the show floor, I guess.

Just google "free nab exhibits pass" and you should find plenty of codes.

Can't wait for more info about the BT-LH80W, that might be the field monitor for me. I'm hoping it has a flip image function in case I'm using a 35mm adapter...

So am I the only one who saw the "AG-HPX500 P2 HD Shoulder-Mount Camcorder "? Sounds like it's around the 10k zone, but super affordable for a 2/3"...
