Vegas and V1U

In setting up the project properties in Vegas 7.0 for use with the Sony V1U camcorder what setting should I use for a 1080 24p project?

1440 x 1080

or

1920 x 1080

Use 1440; all 1080 HDV is recorded at 1440. You should just use the HDV 1080/60i preset.
