I know this is easily done in post but I had loads of fun today setting it to Black & White and just shooting video of my kids.....Kind of always wanted that on the DVX. I'm just a big fan of doing things in-camera.
I like locking the shutter at 1/48. If the cam was adding gain today it didn't bother me, didn't seem that noisy at all, deep blacks. Looked awesome through component cables to my HDTV and I really dug the 24p Black and White. Hate to bash the HVX but I never could afford one (own a 100B). HVX doesn't have black and white the last I checked. Alright, I'm just a happy man with a 24p HD camera under $1200 bucks.:thumbup:
