Have an XL2. Having a hard time with jaggies when I do a green screen. Panasonic friend said I have the wrong camera, and I should get the HVX200. I don't want to purchase another camera only to find out I'm getting the wrong one, any thoughs. BTW using FCS. Thanks Tim

The XL2 shoots DV 4:1:1 color space while the HVX shoots DVCPRO 4:2:2 color space. For greenscreen work the HVX is better because it has more color information but you can still get nice keys from the XL2 if you light the screen evenly.

Thanks, I even went out and purchased a real green screen and a Lowel light kit and it still seems to have the jaggies. I will try this weekend again and adjust the lights and see how it works. Buyng the other camera seems like an expensive way to fix this problem, however, it looks like a great camera. Thanks again.

I've seen some fantastic greenscreen work with the xl2. Do you happen to have after effects? keylight in AE works WONDERS, and in my opinion, kills FCP for greenscreen work.

In a word, No. I have been looking at AE and Ultra. I am doing some Green Screen stuff for my company. Thanks for the feedback.
