Painterly effect

I have been working on my 3rd 24a test footage.
The first two I shot using cine 2, great colors etc, but a little
to cartoon looking.
Shot my last one with No cine settings and still looks painterly.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Its an interesting effect, but...
My 1080i hd footage looks more realistic.

Go to DVinfo.net and search for "oil paint effect." It's a known issue with the V1 when shooting in 24p mode. Currently not resolved by Sony and the jury is still out of whether it's an actual problem or simply display incompatibility.
