Which Tape for HV20?

Which tape do you guys use with the DV20?

I'm used to using the Panasonic MQ and PQ tapes with the DVX100, and I'm wondering how it will work with HDV.

They work very well with HDV cameras. I use them myself. No problems.

canon also has there own HDV tape also that you could use , i belive you have to order directly from them might be good to use there tape with there camera , although i totally agree with elton panny tapes are great.

I have the XH A1 for work and the HV20 for a deck and for home movies.

I have a pack of Sony DVM63HD which I intended to use for the A1 but I don't really want to use $10 tapes on the HV20 for home movies.

Everyone says stick with one tape but how about sticking to one brand instead.

I'll use the Sony DVM63HD recorded on the A1 in the HV20 during post but can I use another Sony tape like premium or excellence on the HV20 for non work use?

OR

Can I use a couple of DVM63HD over and over on the HV20. I'll just reuse the tapes after transferring everything to the harddrive. I know this should be possible and some have said to just stop using the tape when drop out start occurring.

Sounds like I'm doing the HV20 a disservice. I probably should've researched a less expensive tape to use on both cameras before buying $100 worh of Sony DVM63HD.

I got one that came with the A1 and I don't intend to use it. No need to end up loving a $20 tape and can't afford do buy more of...in my case.

I'll probably sell it on Ebay just because.
