Hi:
First of all, sorry for my poor english, I'm from Barcelona.
We'll, I'm very interested in the slow motion footage topics, because I'm planning to shoot images of bikes in fast movements.
Reading some topics in this forum I found a nice Tutorial about how to make a Slow Motion with After Effects.
The tutorial saids that you had to shoot in 30i or 60i (I supose NTSC) in order to convert to 24p in after effects. In this step you have some frame speed reduction, and then you can bring a time strech in order to make it more slow.
My question is: What about the same but with 50i (PAL system?
I was trying this tutorial yesterday but the results weren't very well for me.
I don't know a lot about Pal or NTSC or this topics, but. I feel that NTSC is 30 fps. am I Right?
So If you pull down to 24, you obviously will gain some slower frame rate.
But in PAL system, the frame rate is 25fps. So, when I want to pull down to progressive, its already 25p fps. There is no slower frame rate conversion
Am I right?
Could someone help me about this issue?
Thanx
