Succeeding the promotion I've dedicated to your footage (also during your posting holidays :D), I hope you may have this in consideration... :)

:dankk2: for your PM, Michael.

Your footage is always a MUST. But I should post this statement only after my download. Oooops :badputer:

If not I may lose the place in cue.

Congratulations. You have the best HV20 footage yet. The low light tests are incredible and I am certain besides the rolling shutter issue that my DVX100B will be for sale soon :) Even though I will miss the pro manual controls.

I didn't see yet. But Michael Pappas footage is a hit for sure.

that stuff looks great --

(would have loved to see that same stuff shot for comparison alongside the A1...)

BTW -- this may be a dumb question, but in some footage (for example the barge transitting to the left with red and orange lights) I need to have the player interlace to blend in order to view it properly. Is that the best way to view it -- how was it shot, 60i ?

Michael, I have DLed all your footage and am playing them back full screen via VLC Player on my 40 inch 1080p lcd tv via DVI to HDMI.

Freaking WOW. Impressive

What size are these? I suspect they are the full 1080 something, right? And the VLC player is playing them fully and not just upconverting?

Also, did you shoot these with 24P? I suspect you did, but with out pulldown removal. Is this correct?

And did you just use it on automatic? Or did you tweak the exposure etc. ?

Thanks for posting these. Pretty amazing what this cam can do.
