Anyone have tips on the best way to capture at 720/1080 via firewire to my PowerBook G4 867?

It has FCP 5.0.4 and I have about 700MB RAM.

I'm not getting the live image from the HVX while I have the log and capture window up.

Make sure you have the Device Control set to Non-Controllable Device in the Capture Settings tab in the Log and Capture window, and that you have the correct Capture/Input codec selected too.
