Can anyone advise on how to get that choppy , strobey , Fast paced look common in at lot of hi energy video's? Is it just a fast shutter <or> are lighting FX needed?

Try shooting at 12fps or lower until you get the look you want.

Try using very fast shutter speed. You'll probably have to add a lot more light though.

did 1/1000 shutter. very sharp.
how do i get the jumpy-jerky-strobe look?
