I used the simpleviewer flash template. I realize there's no contact info on it (woops!) but I am going to fix that soon. Any feedback would be appreciated!

how'd you do the shot where there is a glow around the guy at night?

That's a self portrait, and I basically set the camera up with a 30 second shutter and had my sister trace around my body with a small LED flashlight. Pretty neat.
