my hvx has a green bias in preset that i sometimes find unacceptible (in both preset 3200 and 5600K). Good news is white balancing removes it. I find this odd because in most every other model camera i have used preset w/no problems under known lighting conditions (varicam, f900,betacam, dvx100a, etc) I wonder if it is just a factory condition that wasn't dialed out (I was an early adopter) or if other people's HVX200 presets are green as well.....
not a big problem, but one that I keep running into. I have tried removing it with scene file settings, but white balance seems more reliable and precise.
thoughts anyone?

Wow, i nevr noticed. but i like a greenish tint, so i suppose thats why i am in love with its footage.

Could it be the monitor?

Try updating your firmware.

recently updated new firmware, no difference, and I have been looking at different cameras in same monitor. only hvx is slightly green, so not that either.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum with a link to the download page. You'll need a SD card to perform the update, since it is loaded from there into the camera.

I just had a thought (which probably makes no sense). Do a black balance (hold white balance button for 3 secs or so), see if that does anything. Other than that get some magenta coloured sunglasses.
