Quick question about DVX servo/zoom

Hey everyone, just got my brand new DVX100B in the mail today and i am now officially part of this amazing community...

When i was looking over the camera and testing out the functions, i was using the zoom ring to zoom in and out, fast and slow (it seemed like it was hard to turn), i did this for a few min.... later by reading the manual i found out that the reason it was so hard to turn is because it was in the "servo" setting and the manual says you can damage the camera if you try an use the manual zoom ring in that mode.... i know i am most likely being completely paranoid and im sure i didnt damage anything... however i just would like some input on what you guys think?

Cody, probably not a problem. I think most people have done that at one time or another. I know I did right after I pulled it out of the box.

Turn it on, and see if the power zoom works. If so, you're OK.
