black level on my gs250

hi everyone

i have a japanese version of the panasonic gs250 which as a diffrent black level than the usa versian is their a way i can convert it to the usa version.becuase once i burn it on dvd or watch it on my computer it looks flat and bad.is their a way out of this problem?thank you

John, this is primarily a DVX forum. You might get better responses on a consumer forum, like pana3ccduser.com (sorry if that violates a link policy).

With DV digital black level is the same worldwide. The only difference is the black level on the analog (composite and S-video) outputs from the camera. If you capture through Firewire, you have nothing to worry about.
