Hello,
Has anyone worked with these cranes before (PROAM) or has anyone worked with this company before?

I'd like to get some feedback before I buy it.
Thanks

I just purchased a ProAm about two weeks ago. I love it. It is very well built. I am looking for a case to carry it in now.

Looks pretty sweet... I should pick one up...
What type of tripod would be good for this type of set up and for general use?

I ordered mine with the optional stand. I is very sturdy. With the stand all the way up and both extensions on the crane I can see well over our house. It's only a one story home but this thing is WELL over the roof. Even at that height I found it to be quite stable.

How smooth is it?
Does anyone have any footage with the crane? Would love to see how smooth the shots are?

So far smoot as glass. I works really well with the stand. It would take a pretty beefy tripod to handle it. It also breaks down into to 4 foot sections nicely.

How easy is it to setup and takedown? The Kessler seems to be pretty easy to do, just wondering how this compares.

Retaf99;
Have you uploaded any videos - would love to see your test footage of it. Also, what monitor are you using with this?
And any remotes or what kind of controls are you using to control the camera?

I just got a Proam 4' jib (DVC50) from Bargain Camera. Going to use it mostly inside. I was pretty surprised at the quality for the price... very smooth, easy to use. The seller/store is very responsive by the way and the thing came quickly and almost over-protected.
