I wonder if anyone has done a direct comparison of the HVX tweaked to the same ISO as the DVX in low light? Maybe this has been discussed before and you can point me to the thread. I saw similiar threads but nothing that tries to match the HVX in low light to the DVX and see what the differences are, how close you can get the HVX to look like the DVX, if you prefer one over the other, etc.

thanks, I did some more reading AFTER I posted. Let me know when there is a camera that shoots . . .
1. native 16:9
2. ISO and image quality equal to DVX or better
3. HD

At what price point? I suspect the upcoming 2/3" models will do what you are asking for.

Yeah, HPX500 would do that.
