Few weeks ago , I was able to get an HVX 200, 8 gb P2 and a Firestore (3.0)
As I live in Vietnam , I went to Singapore to get it .
Carry on board the camera and FS in a Portabrace bag and Started reading Barry Green’s book on the 1 hour and 30mm flight back to Saigon.
I was like a kid on Christmas day , I was so excited I… left the book and the CD
in the plane after landing . Called the airline company once I realized I left the bible behind but impossible to get it back
Just did some test with my new baby: 720 25P , P2 and Firestore to FCP (5.1.4). Beautiful !
Now, I might be missing something, I cannot achieve at 720 50 p slow motion using the Frame Rate Converter in FCP a pop up window says : Only DVCPRO HD 720p 59.94fps media are supported .
Did I miss something ? can it be done with a Pal camera ?Is there a simple workaround ?
Any kind of help will be appreciated
Thanks to all in anticipation
Pier
ps: This forum is fantastic !

Here's what I THINK ( I hope P2 Log's Dan can help me on this:)

You can Import and convert the 720p50 shots on P2 Log Pro. It will convert the footage to 720p60, wich could then theoretically have pull down on the frame rate converter. Try to PM Dan Montgomery (a dvxuser here, go to the member's list) to see if this is possible.
