Is the P2 Store pretty user friendly? Any Problems with it and dumping footage? We will be renting on for an upcoming shoot and just wondering how easy they are to work with.
Thanks!

they are really easy to use, but the display lacks. There is a 5 bar system for showing you how much space is left on the drive, so you dump a card and the bars dont go down sometimes, how do you know it copied? you really dont you just trust it, for me that is a problem. It should have a LCD telling you exactly how many gigs are left, or some kind of copy completed signal.
I wish they had those options, but you just kinda gotta trust it and you should because its a P2 Store not some aftermarket tool which isent backed my panasonic. I still think they are expensive, just have a laptop handy with external HD.

Oh i once had an error, i beleive because it overheated, we had it on a rooftop with umbrellas over them to sheild the sun, but some of them (ubrellas not p2 stores lol) blew away and one of the units overheated and we missed a clip, no biggie because there were two P2 stores per camera on that shoot.
