Apparently I posted in wrong thread...(DOH!!)

so heres my post from different thread
*copy* *past*

Hi All,
I'm brand new to the scene, both DVX site and making/writing screenplays. Any tips or other advice would be great. I have a short already (I don't care for the script, was kinda thrown together on a short notice) but still this is my first ever attempt to write/direct/edit with a fellow DVXer. Go watch and leave me some positive words for me please. Dear Mr. Smith. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=kzThKUS-_po)

Well I'm currently working on another script, I'll have more info on that later.

:)

Watch and read everything in dvxuser. Enter a contest, start a thread and wait for the criticism. Then use that on your next project.

I watched 1/2 of the short but there was not enough there to keep my attention to watch the rest. But it looks like you've got something to work with. I don't want to get into a big critique here.

It's better that you join a fest and prepare to get bombarded. In a good meaningfull way. It's a fast way to learn. We had a saying back in the day for that (although a different biz)... 'jump in the fire' which still applies here.

Good luck and welcome to dvxuser. Looking forward to your short if you decide to enter.

/I'm surprised no one else has commented on this thread yet. Maybe they're all in the user-films dept? (whisper...It's better than our first one, haha).

LOL, well I appreciate your response. and to be honest the film looses my interst too. I'm not entering into the spyfest, I'm helpin a fellow DVXer out on his entry. Though I am however working on a feature script right now. And enjoying every minute of it. Again thanks for the comments. And maybe you'll see my work in the next fest.
