So what are all your top thing's not to do with the camera? (doesn't have to be 10) i.e. "shake it", "place it on a hot surface", etc.

drop it... kick it... or hurt it in any other way... Oh, and never lend it to a unreliable friend... Never leave it in an area it can easily collect dust...

so not submerge it in water.
do not bury it in the back yard.
do not drive over it with a hummer.
do not hit it with rock or sledge hammer.
do not drop it from 20 story building.
do not defacate, urinate, or vomit in, on, or around it.
do not give it to the homeless or heroin/crack/meth addicts.
do not pawn it to pay your rent or to buy drugs.
do not substitute cheese for DV tapes.

Don't spill a drink on it. (this includes transporting liquid of any kind in your camera case... a big no no)
so not submerge it in water.

Trust me, this would be a very short doc, mostly involving the inside of a pawn shop display case.

Don't take it apart looking for the Flux Capacitor.
Don't soak it in distilled water.
Don't wrap it in foil and leave it in a closet overnight.
Don't read page 63 or 67 of your DVX manual, or the first page of Barry's book.
And whatever you do, don't ever listen to any advice you get from some online user group.
