I've started doing researching about 35mm adapters for the DVX and HVX cameras so I asked my father to send me his old lenses. This is what he sent me. I'm curious what you folks can tell me about these lenses as well as which 35mm adapter will work best with them (I'm unsure of the mount type).

Nikon, Nikkor-S•C, 1 : 1.4, f=50mm

All of the lenses are too slow to use for anything except for the Nikon f/1.5 and the Quantray 28 f/2.8 (that is still too slow)

Research 35mm adapters in the DIY section.

Would that Nikon 80-200 fit a Rebel? If it does, you want to sell it?

Really? What types of fStops should I be looking for? And at what Xmm? I'm guessing I probably want to have a 28mm, a 50mm and 80mm and something a little bigger but at what fStops?

Ideally for a 35mm adapter you want 1.2, 1.4, 1.8, 2.0, 2.8

f2.8 is slow for these though...

i have to admit i have a bunch of 2.8 lens and i have no problem with them on my redrock or with the brevis. you'll notice u wont use super shallow depth of field all the time.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to put some of these on eBay as well as the bodies and try and get some faster lenses.
