DVX various questions

Hey guys. I got a DVX, M2, Cartoni Tripod.

Is it good to leave them put together on the tripod even when not using. Like does it add tension to my tripod parts???

Is it a good idea to leave the M2 on the DVX at all times??

Is it better to get a pelican case that will fit my M2 and DVX instead of purchasing the M2 case from Redrock??
