I just recently got a Rebel XT but am noticing an odd issue. RAW files don't seem to appear on the CF card in the computer. I see that they're on there in the camera but, when I plug the XT in to my computer, they don't show up. I've tried displaying hidden and system files but they just appear to be invisible. What's up?

You need to use the Canon software that came with it to view Camera Raw...
Sometimes, you can just open your camera folder an hit F5. It works for me when I can't see my files right up.

a few issues here. If you have a lot fo files on your card it might take a little whiel to load. If youa re shooting raw+jepeg and trying to open it through my computer the raw files won't apear and instead a duplicate jpeg will apear (for this feature you must use canon software as mentioned before and your setting in the camera must be set to pc connection instead of print/pcp. If you are just shooting raw and can't see it in the canon software but you can see it through my computer try switching pc connection instead to print/pcp or the opoosite
