Our school just had its own 48 Hour Film Competition this weekend. There were about 34 teams and 23 of them finished. Our genre was romance, our prop was an empty tupperware container, and our line of dialog was "How much longer until you are ready to go?' We won the underclassmen award. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Sorry it is on youtube, but the compression actually worked out pretty well.

Fantastic job - great storyline with classic conflict-resolution! The acting was excellent and the editing worked well considering your deadline. The music edits were very strong and really helped the story and the audio quality was good. The composition was acceptable, the camera angles were checkered (many quite interesting, a few were a bit bizarre but I'm sure fine for your audience - definitely Indie all the way). The tupperware metaphor was certainly hilarious!!! One minor point - don't overlook the lighting, even if you only have access to a auto windshield reflector to shape the light while outside; the lighting/color on the indoor shots could also use some work - continue to work on this important area (aren't they all?) Finally, I loved the scene retake sequences - very creative!
Keep 'em coming and thanks for sharing!
Warm Regards, Michael

Michael,
Thanks for the kinds words. We had a lot of fun making this and it turned out pretty well for our first 48 hour project. Thanks for the tips on the lighting, we intended to use a cheap bounce card but we got rushed near the end of shooting and just focused on finishing. Thanks again for the feedback.
