Have you ever written one of those extra large editorial type posts that encapsulate oh basically to quote
I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, I can't seem to get that through to you. I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content. I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Heaven, Hell. Do you understand... FINALLY?
...only to have your browser take a huge shit and make it all go bye bye?
Well I had written such a post about how I've come to realize the enormity of digital editing and film making; the ridiculous vastness of the subjects spanning from creative/literary talent to the very physics of light and sound. There's HUGE body of knowledge which unlike other casual interests becomes a veritable Pandora's Box for the unwary. and on and on....
In short... this board is at the hub of it all and I am greatly thankful. Special thanks to the experts who donate their patience and vast knowledge, the result of years of experience to answer the barrage of "I just spent 15k why can't I _____, how does this ________, and what does _______ do and why when I want to _______ does my _______ make a ________ and then _________!!! WTF!?" Or also the "what's the best ________ to buy" posts which started me typing in the first place.
The field is truly huge and the questions will remain endless which makes this site the abosolute bestest thing since crack. Thank you so much everyone. I've not been able to quit my day job for photo/videography... but thanks to this board I'll probably get fired for browsing and have to sink or swim eventually. Have a nice day.
