Audio not rendering

In my precomp, i have the audio icon checked and I can hear audio when i ram preview it.

When I put that precomp in the final comp, the audio icon is checked but it is darker and I can't hear audio in the ram preview.

I am sure (hope) it is something simple.

Also, when I render it, there is no audio.

Any ideas? Thx.

by default, the audio is unchecked in the render options. you need to make sure it is checked. Though you should probably just export from AE as video only and compile it with the rest of you footage in you NLE of choice.

As for the the ram preview, the period in the numeric keypad will give you an audio only preview, but you should get audio from a normal ram preview, if you haven't muted the audio track.
