DVD+R or DVD-R? I haven't revisted this in years... I've been using (minus)-R for all this time. Is +R considered better nowadays?

What does it cost/what do you have to do to get projects created on "real" DVDs (DVD-video)... the format that store-bought DVDs come in?

STICKY LABELS - can this cause problems with a DVD or with playback? (the labels that you stomp onto the CD)?

Neither -R or +R is going to be completely bulletproof, but in my experience, -R has higher compatibility with home players. (Panasonic players, for example, only play -R.)

And I've heard reports of sticky labels coming off and getting stuck inside a player. For small projects, IMO you're better off with an inexpensive Epson inkjet printer with the CD/DVD printing tray (I got mine for $80) and a spindle of inkjet-printable discs.

Ive just bought a DVD + - and Ram writer/ lightscriber to cover dual layer, I always used -R's but was told +R are now more compatible with the advent of Xbox360 and better DVD players. If you want to use labels buy pre labelled dvd's, I use an Epson think its a r220 to print them, Ive never had any problems with playback.
