Audio Buzz on line in, but not mic in

I got a V1 a few weeks ago and on my first shoot with audio I found that going line in from the mixer (a Sound Devices 442) everything sounded fine listening back off camera. But when the camera rolls a buzz is heard and recorded to tape. Upon further investigation i found if i fed the camera mic level audio, and of course changed the camera to mic level in, no buzz. The buzz is just bad enough to be a deal killer on a sit down interview, anybody else had this problem, or want to see if their camera has this same flaw?

Dont worry about your mixer!

The V1U does have a problem with the line input with low level noise! Good to know that its not just me! This camera is racking up the problems! Its bummer too because this camera produces excellent images. The production company I work for got one and I have been really dissappointed with the design.

namely - the headphone jack placement? lens/focus ring? lastly, the thing is a light eater!

Sony why can't you just make the Z1U 24/25p that would just be too good to be true.
