I am sure this is a simple problem, but i don't know what exactly to search for to fix it because i dont know what its called. Some files i had in a comp got moved to a different harddrive, and i just want to relink them so the timeline reads the new location of the files it has in it. How do i go about doing this?

You're going to have to right click your footage in the bin window (with all your comps and footage), and got to replace footage-->file. Navigate to the footage on your new drive, and it will relink (and hopefully all of your footage will be back online, otherwise you might have to do this with everything, if folder names changed or something).
