I can't believe that I did this, but I accidently had one of my HVX200's in 480 60i and the other one in 480 24PA using scene file 6. Both cameras were in the squeeze mode. I guess somehow when switching back and forth for various jobs, I missed seeing in the Recording setup that I had chosen 480 60i on my main camera. I used a third camera as a stationary camera (DVX100 with an anamorphic adapter) and that was also in 480 24PA.
When I dropped my footage onto the 24PA timeline, it showed red that I had to render it, but when I placed the other two cameras on the timeline, they were fine. That's when I realized that I had a problem.
I did a quick test on a very short portion of the camera in 60i and rendered it, but it seems like it's dropping frames.
Any help on this would be really appreciated. Would I be better to attempt to convert the 24PA footage back to 60i, or vice versa. I just have to figure out some way of making this thing work. I have approximately 2-1/2 hours of footage on each of the cameras.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
eric
