I just got an AJ-PCS060 drive in preparation for a maiden voyage with the HVX200 next week.

I've installed all the drivers on my G4 Powerbook (running OSX 10.4.8) and connected the drive.

Unfortunately however, every time I try to connect the drive, I get a dialog saying "The disk you inserted is not readable by this computer."

Does anyone have an idea how to remedy this? Any help would be MOST appreciated!

thanks!

Have you done the three button sequence to switch the P2store from PC to Mac?

I did the three button sequence and the USB light is showing orange which supposedly indicates it's in Mac compatible mode from what I read.

Copy a card to it first, and then try plugging it in. I believe it gives this message on a Mac when the drive is empty.

Thanks for the responses Jim & Barry.

The drive is empty, so hopefully that's the problem. Unfortunately I don't have a card to copy onto to it because my cameraman has them. We're meeting up in NC on Monday for this shoot. So wish me luck.

thanks,

Doug
