P2 cards haven't arrived yet so... shooting the HVX in DV 16 x 9 SD and when importing footage to FCP via Firewire have to render all clips once on Timeline.
Sequence and Capture presets are set to Anamorphic and clips appear Letterboxed in Viewer and Canvas windows, yet once in Timeline require rendering before outputting.
Am I missing something in this workflow? Any thoughts on avoiding this extra render step?
