OK,
So when I offload my FS-100 to my Mac G5 it works fine, but when I try to offload my P2 cards using my HVX it starts to copy and then gives me an error message. Unable to copy files because the disk cannot be read or written to. Something like that. I brought this up a while ago and never addressed the problem because I was using other computers to offload the footage. New macbook pro did it, regular macbook did it, even my old ibook was able to copy the footage. And if I downloaded on the ibook, I was even able to copy the footage over to the G5 through a private network and import it to FCP. Which leads me to believe the problem is with my G5. I am running 10.4.8, and FCP 5.0.4, Quicktime pro. Not that any of that even matters.
So if no one has any idea, who would I contact at Panasonic or Apple to ask them? I am really confused and can't find the right support numbers to call. Any suggestions? I really am trying to solve this problem.
