Does anyone know what settings on the zoom display match 35mm still lenses?
Like 30 percent = a 55 mm lens and so on.

Yes its more like a 38-320
I like to know if anyone made a mm scale like the focus scale. Say I want to set up a shot using a 85mm lens. What number would I dial in on the zoom meter?

The DVX is 32.5 - 325mm.
You can calculate the equivalent focal length by dividing the desired 35mm focal length by 7.2. *So, to get the equivalent of 85mm on the DVX, you'd need about 12mm on the DVX.
There are some markings on the zoom ring that would help you get in the ballpark (it's marked for like 4.5mm, 6mm, 20mm, 45mm, etc). *As for a direct relationship between the zoom readout in the display and what the mm are on the lens, someone made a chart here on this forum. It looks accurate to me.
