View Full Version : P2 viewer and FireStore FS-100

There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to view clips in the FireStore drive through the P2 Viwever software. However the folder system in Firestore (I am able to see it just as an external HD when I connect it to my PC laptop) is kinda different from that of a P2 card. So - when I set the virtual P2 card in the P2 viewer, it does not see the files in any of the FireStore's foilders.

Did you do Organize P2 on the FS-100?

You won't recognize anything from the FS-100 unless you do Organize P2.

There's that little troublesome thing called a manual.
Might want to take a quick peek at it.

what are some options in the event that some footage from the fs-100 was copied to a hard drive without being organized? what are some ways to salvage that footage...and make it importable for fcp.
Format the FS-100, copy your original files back to it, run P2 Organize, cross fingers it will work, prepair to lose chunks of hair.
