Transfer from HVX to Mac

Trying to transfer from the HVX's P2 cards and not having any luck with the Mac 'recognizing' the HVX's P2 cards.

Going out of the HVX's 4 pin firewire to the Mac's 6pin inthe front (have tried three dif cabels, so I don't think it's a bad cable)

Have HVX set on 1394 Device.

Am in PC and P2 view mode.

Any ideas?
