Jump to P2 footage with Time Code

Anybody else have this problem? MC 2.6.2 after I get all my P2 clips in the Avid, I double click a clip and load it into the source monitor. I then want to go to specific time code areas, just by typing in the time code and hitting enter. Works great with captured footage, but not with MXF. any ideas?
