Is it possible to recover Raylight avi files when the mxf files are deleted?
I think that`s the problem why I keep seeing No Data messages in raylight converted avi files.

Thanks in advance,
T

No, and you should not delete the MXF files, and you should also make backups of them. I would read the Raylight tutorial, (see dvfilm.com/help) especially Part 2.

The alternative is to make self-contained Raylight AVI's but then Raylight Red (the lo-res proxy mode) is not available. If you make a self-contained AVI then the MXF files can be deleted or put offline, but I would still make a backup.

He can try an undelete utility, I use one called DataDoctor Data Recovery
and also check the Recycle Bin.
