Importing video from Vegas into AE for use with Magic Bullet?

I want to put some HDV from my Canon XH A1 into AE so I can use some Magic Bullet color correction presets. I do NOT need it for de-interlacing. How do I go about that?

Dude, no offense, but you should check out the manual for questions like this. It's pretty basic in scope, and you're also being quite vague so it's a little hard to answer the question without knowing exactly what you need to know.

But....

Import the video in your computer, export as a lossless format, import into AE, apply effect and render.
