Entertaining information so far. That is some dedication (and patience) to get that zippo shot pulled off, I'm sure it will be worth it though. Next project I do I want to force myself to do more "creative" shots like this.

I've enjoyed watching your stuff before (trailers and clips of your website), so I'm glad you posted this up here.

I'm with that, I've been in post on a feature I shot for about a year now and I can't get over how little I like my shooting. On my next film I plan to shoot what I planned to shoot and not just get coverage because of time/money.

P.S. You've got some nice stuff on your reel and Vincent is a killer name.

from blog
"tell me how much depth there is at 1.8 170mm 8-9ft"

don't know it in inches but basically depending on how face is to camera you decide if you want left or right eye in sharp focus ... if eyes in focus then tip of nose slightly soft ... so basically you don't have any DoF ...

Hey Vincent,

Something that would interest me is how the admin behind the scenes is working out. So much of getting your day is making sure you have your planning in check. Just wondering how many pages you are scheduled for, and how you "make the shoe" fit without sacraficing the quality.
