anyone here find it interesting that the lcd misguiding at better colors than what you get out of the tape?

I shot some stuff the other day and the lcd really promised some nice colors until i looked at the footage and found that it needed CC.

also has anyone messed around with Canon Presets yet? I will have some footage soon using a few of the presets!!

Hi d3. There is often a mismatch between the LCD and the recorded footage. It is a good idea to hook up the camera video output to a (calibrated?) TV monitor, and adjust the settings of the LCD and viewfinder to get as close a match as possible to what you see on the monitor. This also helps a lot in achieving good exposure too. If the LCD is too bright you tend to get dull video, etc.
