I have 8 4 GIG cards loaded into my P2 Store. I can see 8 partitions in Disk Utility and 8 partitions show up on my Mac desktop.
However, only 7 partitions show up in the Mac Finder. Consequently, I can't see one of the partitions using P2 Log.
I have unmounted and mounted the partions in Disk Utility. Still, one of them just won't show up in the Finder.
But here is some interesting information. P2 Log adds a number suffix to "NO NAME." Hence P2 Log opens "NO NAME 1" thru "NO NAME 7."
The partition that neither Finder or P2 Log can't see is the very first card loaded which presumably would be just plain "NO NAME" without a suffix.
Interestingly, I can see and import this partition thru FCP if I go thru the internal import steps bypassing any use of the finder. (There are two methods of P2 import in FCP, one of the uses the finder. The other one uses a pulldown in the import dialogue box and in this pulldown I can see "NO NAME" thru "NO NAME 7" giving me all 8 partitions.)
What the hell is going on here? That first loaded card, while accessible in some ways, is in jeoprady of being overlooked if one is not careful.
