Dear all,

I have read with interest over the last few days various means to produce static 35mm adapters, I am very temted to go and buy the M2 system for my Sony HVR-V1E.

However the delay in delivery times and cost have made me think about making one.

I have noticed lots of great results posted by various inventors and have a question regarding the ground glass or capture surface.
I been researching the net and came across the following filter and thought it may be a good replacement as well as being the correct fitting ie 62mm filter size.

It is the ExpoCap White balance seen at
http://www.expodisc.com/products/product_detail.phpprodid=5&productname=ExpoCap

I would be interested in your thoughts, as a novice to all this I am thinking of a easy approach and thought that this may be OK.

Regards Steve

Hi,
Pretty sure that wont work, as it will not diffuse the light.

Hi Steve,

its a good idea but I read the products page and I think it will be to dark. It has only 18% of light transmission.
