I have some HD (1920x1080) targa's i have exported from after effects 7. I need to import the sequence back into premiere pro 2.0, however, it doesnt want to accept them as 23.976 sequence but rather makes each targa 3seconds long. (when obviously there should be 23.97 of them per second) So i was wondering if there was an external program (or a way i dont know about within premiere) to render those targa's to a raw HD mpeg file so i can then combine them with my premiere pro project. These are the color corrected shots that belong in the premiere project. Any help is apreciated.

Thanks.

you might beable to set the Default Image Size to .23976 - but im not sure if premiere will like that :-/

Don't have 2.0 but you should be able to import the folder and you would place that folder on your timeline. You might want to check your Edit-->Preferences-->Still Image and set that to default duration of 1 frame. Then when you start a project, right click in your project window, navigate to your folder with the images, then click Import Folder. This will create a bin folder in your project window with the images inside. If you then drag that folder down to your timeline it will put them there in sequential order. If you have the preferences set to default of 1 frame you should be able to import individual frames if you need to. At least that's the way it works in 1.5

File>Import>select just the first file in the directory and check "Numbered Stills " dialog box. It should import all the image files as a one clip.

ive found a much superior way for a pre-rendered way which doesnt take as long! If anyones interested, i will make a tutorial. Its just as many tedious steps, but gets the job done better. My friend who works for PDI explained how to do it.
