A1 + MPEG Streamclip + m2t = NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating this conversion crap is. I have 67 m2t files that I need to convert so that I can edit in FCP and after putting them through MPEGStreamclip about 11 of them result is being sped up about 500% but with the audio still in place. What the hell man, I've been dealing with this since last week. This is my first official downfall with owning the A1.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with this flawed m2t/fcp workflow then please let me know.

Hmm, not sure what to say here. I've never had a problem with MPEG Streamclip and I've converted batches and batches worth of footage.

There's probably a simple explanation but without being able to see your camera settings, your settings on the firestore, the clips that are getting recorded on the firestore, and a detailed explanation of how you're doing the conversions, it may be difficult to figure out what's causing your problem.

You may need to post a detailed explanation of your workflow. Not what's listed on that link, but rather what you've been doing step by step. But otherwise you may want to consider Elton's advice: since you're having so much trouble, why don't you just capture from tape?
