1080p25 in FCP

I'm new to this so bare with me.

I don't see a 1080p25 codec in the video settings. Is this because FCP just doesn't provide a codec yet?

How do I edit 1080p in pal land? convert to 24p?

What actually happens to the image if I make a setting under 1080i with field order is set to none?

Use the 1080i preset. I cannot explain right now why, but thats the way it works.
Do a search for the reason why.

set fields to none
