Hi guys,
In a couple of months I'll have to switch to Windows Vista, but of course will also need to use my adobe packages, like After Effects. Now I can't find any official information about this, but does anyone know if After Effects 7 Pro runs flawless on Windows Vista too?
Thanksies!
I have tryed and it works.

OK, nice. Was it the 32-bit version? Or the 64-bit version?
it is a 32bit beta version built in the summer.

I use Premiere Pro 2.0 on Vista Ultimate it works perfectly, as long as you are an administrator.

Thanks, and which version is that? 64bit?
Why does it only work as an administrator?

because Vista wants to work super safely, so you have to be an administrator to do anything.

Definititely get Vista Premium or Ultimate (it is a business edition that you can not buy as a consumer) as it has the HD and video codecs in it.
The "run as administrator" comments are referring to the need to run certain programs with elevated (e.g., administrator) priveleges. It is easy to configure for a specific program only.
